San Juan College subscribes to several local newspapers that provide coverage of the Navajo Nation and people. Copies of recent newspapers can be found in the newspaper section of the library. Microfilm of earlier issues are available as well.  The following is a select list of newspapers. Print and microfilm holdings are noted.

Ethnic NewsWatch

Ethnic News Watch indexes the Navajo Times from 1999 to the present.   It also indexes the tribal newspapers listed below.  You can search the database by subject, name, keywords, type of story (such as news, sports, editorials, etc.)  You can also limit a search to a particular publication. There is a tutorial available to help teach you how to use the database.
