Welcome to San Juan College's Navajo Word Processor Site!

The program was developed by computer science programming students in the COSC 270 course at San Juan College in Farmington, New Mexico.

It is a complete software package including a full-featured word processor, four Navajo fonts, an English to Navajo dictionary and a Navajo to English dictionary. There are about 2500 words in each dictionary including 300 medical terms; for more information on features visit our features page.

We are very excited about this version because this version is the first to be cross-platform meaning you can run the Navajo Word Processor on Linux, Mac, or Windows.
