DESCRIPTION:Discover the story behind NASA&rsquo;s 2009 Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) and Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite (LCROSS) missions, launched from Cape Canaveral to map the Moon and search for water ice in permanently shadowed craters, including Cabeus. The mini-show brings the missions to life through immersive imagery and simulations, including a reconstruction of the Centaur rocket&rsquo;s impact in Cabeus crater and the discovery of water ice and other materials. As the LRO mission continues, the show is designed to evolve with it. New images, discoveries and scientific findings can be incorporated over time, keeping the experience current as we learn more about the Moon. Showtimes&nbsp;  6:30 p.m. 7:30 p.m.  Admission  FREE Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis&mdash;maximum seating capacity of 60 in the planetarium. In order to preserve dark-adaption, there is no late admittance into the planetarium once the show has started!  Public Stargaze If weather permits, we will offer a free public stargaze with telescopes at 8:30 p.m. in the courtyard behind the planetarium after the last show.
