The San Juan College Foundation’s Holiday Spectacular once again lived up to its name, delivering a joyful, energetic and record-breaking event that brought the community together in celebration.
Music, Dance and Unforgettable Performances
This year’s performance lineup featured 18 incredible acts and an astounding 261 participants, showcasing the remarkable artistic talent within our region.
Guests were treated to a vibrant evening filled with dance, music, storytelling, and community pride. The event welcomed the San Juan College Concert Choir, a special holiday reading by Travis Wade, SJC Assistant Professor of English, along with performances from seven local studios, two Encore classes, a Community Learning class, and a featured vocalist.
A Showcase of Talent Across Ages and Abilities
One of the defining strengths of the Holiday Spectacular is the powerful diversity it brings to the stage. Performers of all ages and skill levels contributed to a dynamic and heartwarming display of creativity. From elegant ballet pieces to high-energy contemporary dances, the show captured the joy and magic of the season.
The energy inside the theater was contagious. Laughter, cheers and applause filled the room as families, friends and community members celebrated both seasoned performers and those stepping into the spotlight for the very first time.
A Record Year for Fundraising and Generosity
The Foundation extends heartfelt appreciation to Big Red Tool, Inc., whose generous sponsorship played a vital role in the event’s success. Thanks to their support, the Holiday Spectacular surpassed $10,000 in profit for the second consecutive year. A meaningful achievement that directly supports Kids Kollege Scholarships.
These funds help open doors for young learners, providing access to enriching summer programs that inspire creativity, curiosity and confidence. The Foundation is deeply grateful for the community partnerships that make this impact possible.
A Completely Sold-Out Event—Again
For the second year in a row, the Holiday Spectacular sold out entirely. Audience members and performers alike left the event overflowing with excitement, joy and wonder.
