Industrial Process Operator Program (IPOP)
Industrial Process Operator (AAS.IPOP) 63 credit hours
Learn the basics of industrial processes and prepare for an exciting career!
Process operators work in many industries, and in plants that produce electricity, commodity gases (natural gas, propane, butane), gasoline, diesel fuel, industrial chemicals, plastics, ultra pure water, pharmaceuticals, and other such products.
With more than $1.2 M worth of process equipment, the hands-on approach of the industrial process operator program (IPOP) guarantees that students learn both the theoretical and practical aspects of process operations and are well-prepared for entry-level positions in various industries. Many of our former students work at the local power plants and gas processing facilities.
