Silhouette Series presents an evening of music by the SJC Band

Enjoy an evening of music when the San Juan College Symphonic Band performs on Friday, November 17, at 7 p.m., in the Henderson Fine Arts Center Performance Hall, as part of the San Juan College Silhouette Series.
The symphonic band led by conductor Dr. Teun Fetz, assistant professor of Music, will feature an array of powerful and sensitive compositions with a wide range of emotions, feelings and musical brilliance. The concert will feature Farmington High School Band Director Chris Argotsinger as trombone soloist on the Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov Concerto for Trombone and Military Band. The band will perform Basque Lullaby and Good Night, Dear Heart by Dan Forrest and Con Brio March by Ralph Ford. Two pieces will be performed by Samuel Hazo – Fantasy on a Japanese Folk Song and For Heaven and the Future. The evening will feature the trombone section in the famous Lassus Trombone by Henry Fillmore.
