Outdoor Equipment Rental Center

Welcome to San Juan College’s Outdoor Equipment Rental Center!  Our rental center offers you the opportunity to rent equipment to get you on the water or in the mountains, and best of all, we offer it for the best price in the 4 Corners!  Our staff is dedicated to making sure that you not only get the equipment that you need, but also all of the information for your next adventure.  The OERC staff is very experienced in the outdoors, so they can easily tell you a great place to go ski, raft, backpack, or climb.  Some items may be reserved and we encourage reservations, especially for rafts.  We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, checks, and of course, cash.

M-F 12:00 - 6pm

  For late, dirty or damaged items, a fee will be assessed and charged at return.

1) We at the Outddor Equipment Rental Center strive to make quality and up to date equipment available to you. We have recently added, Snowboards, Telemark Skis, 8 additional Sea Kayaks, Mountain Bikes, Backcountry Touring Skis, a BC Expedition Ski Sled, New Rafts, 0 and 20 degree sleeping bags and Plastic Mountaineering boots to our already extencive inventory. These items will be available for rentin the months to come. Prices will be added to the below list very soon!

Equipment Liability Statement and Policy
A 25% deposit is required for all reservations
It is recommended that equipment be inspected by Renter for condition
Renter is financially responsible for any loss or damage during rental period
It is the Renters obligation to contain the proper knowledge on equipment being rented
Renter agrees to pay for any damage, loss, cleaning or late fees accrued while equipment is being rented.
Renter will not hold San Jun College, the State of New Mexico or any of their agents responsible for any injury or accident incurred while using rental equipment
All equipment must be returned by 4:30 p.m. on the due date
Cancellation Policy
In order to receive a full refund the Renter must verbally cancel reservation more than 48 hours in advance of 12:00 p.m. on pick up date
If reservation is cancelled within 48 to 24 hours of 12:00 p.m. on the rental date, the Renter will loose the 25% reservation deposit
If Renter fails to cancel reservation the renter will be charged the entire rental fee for the time equipment was reserved
Renter understands that if equipment is returned prior to its due date, no refund of any kind will be issued
Failure to comply will result in loss of rental shop privileges
Late Fees
A late fee will be assessed for each 24 hour period after equipment due date
Fee for equipment begins after 4:30 on due date and is based on 1st Day Rental Fee for each 24 hour period equipment is past due
Shop Work
All shop work will be completed in a timely manner to a high standard of quality.
We will make our best attempt to have shop work ready within 2 business days unless otherwise stated by shop technician.
Work is guaranteed within the parameters of the work unless otherwise specified.
