Represented San Juan College on a wide range of professional constituencies:
Regional Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) Conference committee on both the planning committee for the regional conference and on the facilitator team as well as the National ACBSP Articulation Committee.
Statewide Business Articulation committee. This committee works on behalf of students to guarantee quality, integrity, and maximum transferability of credits from the associate to baccalaureate programs. The committee is committed to establishing, promoting and recognizing educational standards that contribute to the continuous improvement of education.
Student Support Services Council. This council is developing and organizing student information. Members of the council are outlining the key program components to review in proposing a professional development plan for San Juan College. The project for this council is to improve student retention and customer satisfaction by providing high quality student support services
Awards Received:
2001 National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) Award for excellence in teaching, learning and leadership.
2000 Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) Faculty Excellence award for excellence in teaching and promoting student-centered learning.
1999 San Juan College Allison Award for Teaching Excellence, the most prestigious award given to a faculty member at San Juan College.
1998 San Juan College President’s Mission Award for outstanding and exceptional service to San Juan College and the community it serves.
