Biology (AS.BIOL) 64-68 credit hours

If you're interested in a career in microbiology, botany, ecology, forensic science, genetics, environmental studies, physiology, plant pathology, or entomology - or any other career that studies living things - you'll need a foundation in biology.

San Juan College offers an Associates of Science (AS) degree with a Biology concentration. A range of courses are offered to prepare you for transfer to a four-year institution to pursue your Bachelors of Science (BS) degree. Our courses also satisfy the science requirement for other degree programs.

Many of the courses include field trips and studies of the Four Corners region.
