Lab Assistant Information

Interested in becoming a lab assistant? Good, the following guidelines will help you get started:

1. Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Have a copy of your Student Aid Report sent to San Juan College’s Financial Aid office.
2. Once the FAFSA has been processed, make an appointment with the Financial Aid office to fill out a Student Employee Information Sheet.
3. Once you are approved for work-study, bring the following items to the Office of Technology Services, Room 7202, to set up an interview:
   • Student Employee Information Sheet (from Financial Aid)
   • Approval to Interview Form (from Financial Aid)
   • Completed Lab Assistant Schedule Request Form (Available Here)
   • Completed Lab Assistant Information Sheet (Available Here)
   • Signed Acceptable Use Policy (Available Here)
4. It is also recommended that you download a copy of the Lab Assistant Handbook, and read through it before you come to the Office of Technology Services.
