A Sense of Space: High Desert Landscapes

Anasazi RuinsThe San Juan College Library Gallery will display “A Sense of Space: High Desert Landscapes,” a collection of acrylic paintings by artist K. S. Webster, from February 17 through March 17.

Webster earned his bachelor of fine arts in drawing and painting in 1976 from the University of Kansas in Lawrence and was a recipient of the Churchill-Walker Memorial Scholarship. Since 1975 his works have been part of group exhibitions in Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, Georgia, New York, Massachusetts, and New Mexico. Webster has also had a number of one-man exhibits in Kansas, Colorado and New Mexico. Locally, his works have been shown at the West Chaco Gallery in Aztec.

Library hours are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday; and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. For more information call (505) 566-3464.
