ENGL 111-41 HNRS: Freshman Composition
In addition to class meetings, students will meet in small groups or individually with the instructor for in depth discussions on and analysis of the writing process. Honors students will work on synthesizing the course's unit themes with additional reading and writing assignments.

ENGL 211-41 HNRS: Advanced Composition, Honors: Writing and Reading the Southwest
In this honors section we will study southwest authors who have already written about this magnificent, magical land, and then we will write about both the literature and the land of the southwest. This honors section includes a trip in April to the Border Book Festival in Mesilla, NM.

ENGL 218-41 HNRS: Advanced Technical Composition
Students will gain an in-depth knowledge of in the theory and application of practical, informative writing. HONORS students are expected to meet higher academic standards for all course work.

ENGL 245-41 Native American Literature
In addition to class meetings and assignments, honors students will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of Native American literature through additional reading, writing, and extracurricular assignments, and small group or individual conversations with the instructor.

ENGL 252-41 American Lit 1865 to Present
Students enrolled in this honors section will further their understanding of the American literary tradition by reading additional literary and historical works of the period and presenting them to the class. Students will have several meetings throughout the semester with the instructor and other honors students to discuss the outside readings and other topics of interest.

EMSP 220 06SP SPTO: EMT-B
Required Pre-test December 1, 2005, 6:00 p.m. at 4200 Hawkins Rd., Farmington, NM. Cost $15.00, payable on test date. Students must pass pre-test to be accepted into this class. Class schedule: January 11, 12, 14, 18, 19, 25, 26, 28 and February 1, 2, 8, 9, 11, 15, 16, 22, 23, 25. Additional Clinical Rotation of 48 hours is required. Fees paid to the college include: EMS Academy $85.00; Lab Fee $70.00; Books $67.00. Location: 4200 Hawkins Rd, Farmington NM. Wednesday and Thursday classes meet 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Saturday classes meet 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon. Upon completion the student is eligible to take the New Mexico State/National EMT-Intermediate license. The student is responsible for exam fee paid to the New Mexico EMS Bureau.
