MUSI 180. Concert Band 1 cr.
Study and performance of major works composed for large wind and percussion ensemble. Participation in concerts and community performances. May be repeated for a total of three credit hours. Semester Offered–Fall and Spring.
Rehearsals each Thursday. 6-9 pm.

MUSI 182. Jazz Big Band 1 cr.
Study and performance of Big Band Jazz. May be repeated for a total of three credit hours. Semester Offered–Fall and Spring.

MUSI 183. Early Music Ensemble 1 cr.
Study and performance of Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque music on period instruments. Music reading ability required. Semester Offered–Fall and Spring.

MUSI 184-001 Orchestra 3 cr.
This course will provide students an opportunity to prepare orchestral music in an educational environment and perform regularly scheduled concerts each semester. Enrollment is open to all players with a minimum of high school level playing ability. May be repeated for a total of three credit hours. Semester Offered-Fall and Spring.
All strings welcome, winds and brass by instructor permission only.

MUSI 184-002 Sinfonietta 3 cr.
This course will provide students an opportunity to participate in a beginner-level orchestra. Designed to give players their first rochestral experience, this course is open to musician on violin, viola, cello, and bass.  May be repeated for a total of three credit hours. Semester Offered-Fall and Spring.
 

MUSI 187-001 Jazz Combo 1 cr.
Study and performance of small ensemble jazz. emphasis on improvisation in a variety of styles. May be repeated for a total of three credit hours. Semester Offered–Fall and Spring.
