Position Description and Qualifications
Mission for Residential
PV System Lead Installer:

To ensure the completion of 3-5 residential solar projects/week in a manner that is safe, efficient and with an unfailing eye towards customer service.

Outcomes
1) Complete between three and five residential solar jobs/week (minimum three)
- Primarily facilitates the “DC side” of the project, but is ultimately responsible for driving the pace and for project completion
- Communicate with homeowner throughout process from scheduling to commissioning.
2) Keep additional “rolls” (in-field purchases, trips back to shop, additional days to complete project) to less than or equal to one/week.
- Delegate team members to ensure truck is fully stocked with tools and equipment necessary to complete project.
- Delegate team members to ensure project specific materials are packed and accounted for.
3) Minimize “callbacks” to less than 5% per month.

- Attention to detail - Can deliver a completed project with every “i” dotted and “t” crossed.
- Toughness - ability to work for prolonged periods in extreme heat and in sometimes unsavory places (crawlspaces and attics)

- Problem solver - Able to work through issues that arise in the field without needing to be coached through a correct course of action.
- Honesty/Integrity - earns and maintains trust within crew, within the company, with customers
- Communication/Customer Service - ability to clearly and consistently communicate with customers and within company
- Organization- ability to develop, maintain, and follow through with install schedule and communicate that schedule clearly with Operation Manager
- Coachable - open to feedback and criticism with desire to improve

Skills: NABCEP PV Professional certification strongly desired; 3-5 years Electrical/Construction experience, OSHA-10, Basic computer/tablet skills

Mission for Residential
PV Installer Assistant:

Work alongside Lead PV Installer and Electrician to assist in the completion of 3-5 residential solar projects/week in a manner that is safe, efficient and with an unfailing eye towards customer service.

Outcomes

1) Complete between three and five residential solar jobs/week (minimum three)
- Primarily works on the roof (securing attachments, racking, running homerun wire, installing modules), but will be expected to assist wherever needed.
- Keep project moving by prepping and breaking down job site as well as having materials ready for upcoming tasks.

2) Keep additional “rolls” (in-field purchases, trips back to shop, additional days to complete project) to less than or equal to one/week.
- Ensure work vehicle is organized and fully stocked with tools and equipment necessary to complete job.
- Work with Project Lead and Electrician to make sure all job specific materials are packed

Benefits:
- Pay is based on jobs completed (“Piece Rate”) and can range from an equivalent of $14-$20/hr,
- Health/Dental/Vision insurance and accrued vacation after 90 days.
