Carpentry 01	Maintenance Technician in Window Rock, AZ Full Time position Closing Date: 05/28/13 Approx. 40 hrs.per/ week 5 Days of week Salary Range: $14.6067 Description of Position: This class is the third of six levels in the Maintenance series. Incumbents perform a variety of semi-skilled structural, electrical and mechanical maintenance duties on NHA facilities and homes. Responsibilities may include painting walls and surfaces; building and repairing basic structures; testing electrical malfunctions and shorts and making basic repairs; diagnosing routine plumbing issues and replacing pipes, faucets and toilet components; making basic repairs of HVAC systems; conducting inspections to identify and document repair needs; and maintaining all related documentation. Special Requirements: Up to one year of specialized or technical training beyond high school in construction, trades, or a related field and three years of related maintenance, construction, or trades experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience necessary to perform the essential responsibilities of the assigned position. Carpentry 03	Maintenance Specialist position in Window Rock, AZ Full Time Position Closing Date: 05/28/2013 40 hrs. per week 5 Days of week Salary Range: $17.4524 Description of Position: This class is the fourth of six levels in the Maintenance series. Incumbents perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled structural, electrical and mechanical maintenance duties on NHA facilities and homes. Incumbents may either be generalists that perform a variety of trade functions, or specialists that possess advanced and unique knowledge of a specific trade. Responsibilities may include building and repairing a variety of structures, components and facilities; conducting complex electrical diagnostics and repairs; diagnosing and repairing a full range of plumbing systems; conducting regular inspections and determining project priorities; and maintaining all related documentation. Incumbents may lead the work of less experience staff.
