Description of Position:
As a member of the Hardback Coffee Cafe's team, Managers are responsible for managing the department by supervising and executing corporate plans and actions as well as creating a positive team atmosphere, and increasing sales utilizing company financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain sales to plan for the Hardback Coffee Cafe;
Effectively manage inventory by establishing and adjusting ordering parameters, forecasting usage, and controlling waste
Prepare beverages to Hastings; standards of speed, quality, and consistency
Comply with standards for merchandising, stocking, and storing product
Correctly follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Welcome and connect with every customer and help influence purchasing decisions
Follow proper cash handling policies and procedures and conduct a successful cash audit upon the completion of each shift
Takes advantage of new training opportunities and tools

Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
One year coffee/food service management experience
Cash handling experience
Excellent customer service skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Establish and maintain community involvement and interaction
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs
Must be at least 21 years of age
