lApplications Engineer Designers/Draftsman (3) positions with Compression Generation Services located in Houston, TX

Description of Position:
Natural Gas Power Generation and Compression Project Engineer/Project Manager
The project manager is responsible for multiple operational compression and observational jobs with direct responsibility for the operation of compressor packages, gas process, equipment and power generation equipment, including rentals and product management. Oversees all natural gas, duel fuel, and power generators, retrofitting, overhauling, parts and services. Also managing field service and commissioning, where management experience is required. Knowledge in Waukesha and Caterpillar is a must for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and oversee shop overhauls and accessory repairs, shop overhaul parts, ordering return parts, and possible warranty parts, etc.
Ordering and maintaining adequate shop supply inventory by regulating unnecessary repairs and overstocking, etc.
Maintain shop tool calibrations, and update computer programs (DSM)
Responsible for reporting daily workloads, upcoming work required, submitting accurate maintenance reports and ongoing projects to the service manager.
Oversees all components testing before returning to parts dept.
Assists with on call back up support
Reviews shop timesheets and initial approvals
Provides preventative and corrective field mechanical service on gas compression and process equipment on site, at client locations.
Directs, coordinates, and assists with scheduled and unscheduled equipment repairs and maintenance.
Follows all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.
Demonstrates proficiency in accurately and efficiently diagnosing and repairing mechanical problems on multiple compressor systems.
Possesses a strong knowledge of new compressor technologies and comprehensive mechanical, diagnostic, and analytical skills.
Is dedicated to customer service, and maintains professional working relationships with customers and co-workers.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 8-10years experience required working on natural gas compressors or generations.
Management experience in the field is required
Engine and Compressor Schools/Training. Experience both gas and diesel engines
Must be knowledgeable in Waukesha and Caterpillar.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Knowledge and experience on compression, process and production equipment, or electrical systems, including panel boards, skid wiring, etc.
 Knowledge and experience of high speed and low speed equipment.
Significant experience in engine, compressor mechanics, production equipment and natural gas compression.
