At San Juan College, we offer an Associates of Science (AS) degree in Computer Science that will prepare you for transfer to a four-year computer science program. Our program includes problem analysis, design, and testing, and applied instruction in scientific and applications programming languages. You'll receive in-depth training in problem solving through computer science, programming, mathematics, and science course work. Our goal is to equip you with the theoretical knowledge base and practical computing skills required to successfully achieve your Bachelor's degree from a 4-year institution.

We offer an Object-Oriented Programming Certificate for students interested in computer programming. C++ is covered in great depth for console and Widows GUI Programming as well as treating the C++ Standard Template Library (STL). We also cover advanced topics such as inheritance, polymorphism, templates, and data structures.
