Grants Manual
The Office of Grants Development was established in January 2003 and in July of 2007 was re-named the Office of Strategic Development. The primary purposes of the office are to:
- coordinate a grants development process for San Juan College,
- provide technical assistance to the faculty and staff who wish to obtain grant funding and
- facilitate the development of grant proposals.
This grant manual provides an overview of the Office of Strategic Development, defines terms used in the “world of grants”, explains how to locate funding sources, provides guidelines for designing projects and writing the prospectus and provides descriptions of common proposal components for writing proposals.
Project Directors Manual
You’ve received the grant award! Congratulations! This manual will help you to manage your grant efficiently while complying with contractual, regulatory and statutory provisions.
2 CFR 220
Now that a grant award has been received, review 2 CFR 220 prior to expending federal funds. The following is a link to the Cost-Principles that apply to Educational Institutions. PDF versions are much easier to read! You’ll want to review it all, but the Appendix A lists specific items for reference.
