Theatre A.A. Degree Program

Philosophy
We want you to succeed and take pride in your theatrical endeavors. With that goal firmly in mind, the Theatre program provides students with quality instruction while promoting the opportunity to gain experience in theatrical productions. Additionally, the department encourages and promotes the artistic and academic development of all its students.

Opportunities
Theatre students have an opportunity to become involoved in a broad range of onstage and offstage production scenarios. The department presents up to four theatrical productions during the regular school year, ranging from classical to modern, tragedy to comedy, and at least one Broadway musical every other year.

Basic Program
The theatre program offers excellent instruction that promotes the artistic and academic development of all its students, while providing them with an opportunity to produce quality theatrical productions.

Students can choose from a variety of liberal arts classes which go hand-in-hand with a strong core of required theatre courses. Additional course in stage make up, intermediate acting, directing, and technical theatre are also available for interested students.
