Welcome to the San Juan College Testing Center!

    We are located on the first floor of the Information Technology Center (also called the Coppertop Building) on the Main Campus of San Juan College. You can access directions to the Testing Center through Google Maps. 

The SJC Testing Center provides a wide variety of testing services to SJC students, community members and distance education students. See the following links for information concerning specific kinds of testing. Please make an appointment for testing services by calling 505-566-3139 or contact the appropriate testing vendor.  Vendor websites and telephone numbers can be accessed through the Certification and Licensure Testing tab or its link under Testing Services below.

Tuesday - Saturday, 8:30am - 4:30pm

To schedule a test, call us at (505) 566-3139; visit us in the Information Technology Center (Copper Top Building - Room 7120D); or email your request to testingcenter@sanjuancollege.edu. 

HOW TO SCHEDULE A Test:

• Contact the Testing Center BEFORE the date you want to test. 
• Know your student ID #, course number and instructor’s name.
• All tests MUST be completed by the Testing Center's closing time.
• Please call to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Frequent absences (no call, no show) will lead to no-show fees
• Photo ID is required to test. SJC Student ID or government issued ID is acceptable (state ID, driver’s license, tribal ID). NO ID, no testing.

Testing Services

• Academic Skills/Admissions Assessments: College and program entrance exams (ATI TEAS V and HOBET V tests).
• Certification and Licensure Testing: Testing through Prometric, Pearson Vue, PAN, and other national vendors.
• GED (General Educational Development): High school equivalency testing.
• Proctoring Services: Test proctoring for SJC courses and for other colleges, universities, and employers.
• Testing for College Credit: CLEP and DSST Testing.

Additional Information

The SJC Testing Center is bound by the privacy restrictions set forth in the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), which states that no student/examinee information shall be released to a third party without the written consent of the student. 

All visitors to the college campus are expected to abide by the Visitor and Guest Rules for Conduct as outlined by San Juan College.  It is the responsibility of each visitor to know these expectations prior to visiting the college.

The mission of the San Juan College Testing Center is to provide high quality testing and assessment services that observe the National College Testing Association (NCTA) professional testing standards in order to meet the growing needs of our students, faculty, administration and community.

We subscribe to the National College Testing Association Professional Standards and Guidelines. We are a member of the Consortium of College Testing Centers, supporting distance learning.
