Certification and Licensure Examinations

As an authorized ACT Center the San Juan College Testing Center delivers state-of-the-art computerized testing for certification and licensure tests for trades and professions. Each year, ACT assists organizations to develop the licensing and certification assessments aimed at ensuring that individuals bring the necessary skills to their work. Pearson VUE provides innovative electronic testing solutions that enhance the performance, reliability and security of high-stakes testing programs throughout the world. The San Juan College Testing Center is an authorized Pearson Vue Center. Pearson Vue is a leader in testing in Health & Medicine, Information Technology, Academic Admissions, Driving, Employment & Human Resources, and Financial Services Testing. The San Juan College Testing Center is an authorized Prometric Testing Center. Prometric Testing Centers provide testing services for information technology certification, academic admissions, and professional licensure or certifications. The San Juan College Testing Center offers Microsoft Office Specialist certification testing. This certification, the premier Microsoft desktop certification, is a globally recognized standard for demonstrating desktop skills. The Office Specialist program is helping meet the demand for qualified and knowledgeable people in the modern workplace.

This year, Microsoft has introduced the MIcrosoft Certifified Application Speciaist which covers the entire Microsoft Office Suite, encompassing: Word 2007, PowerPoint® 2007, Excel® 2007, Outlook® 2007 and Access® 2007, as well as Windows Vista™. Automotive Service Excellence certification testing is available at the San Juan College Testing Center. For more information go to the ASE website. The paper and pencil version of the test is offered according to dates specified by ASE. Computer based testing is also available though ACT Centers.

Dental Assistant National Boards are given through the San Juan College Testing Center. You must apply online through the DANB website.
