Proctoring Services
Make-Up Exams
Upon prior arrangement with your instructor, you may be permitted to take make-up exams in the SJC Testing Center. You should be familiar with the SJC Testing Center Policies and Procedures prior to taking exams. Appointments are not necessary, but plan to arrive in time to complete your test by the SJC Testing Center’s closing time. The SJC Testing Center will adhere to the instructions given us by the instructor as to deadline, time limits, use of books or notes, etc. Photo identification is required.
ADA Accommodations Testing
An instructor may arrange for a student with a documented need for extra time (only) to take the exam in the SJC Testing Center. You should be familiar with the SJC Testing Center Policies and Procedures prior to taking exams. Appointments are not necessary, but plan to arrive in time to complete your test by the SJC Testing Center’s closing time. The SJC Testing Center will adhere to the instructions given us by the instructor as to deadline, time limits, use of books or notes, etc. Photo identification is required.
Faculty requesting proctoring services must complete a Faculty Instructions form for each quiz, test, or exam. Either drop by our office to pick up the form or email us at testingcenter@sanjuancollege.edu and we will be happy to send you one.
Distance Education Proctoring
The SJC Testing Center offers Proctoring Services for students from other colleges and universities. The fee for proctoring is $20.00 per exam. Generally there is an agreement signed between your college and SJC. Contact the Director of Testing at (505) 566-3452 for more information.
Proctoring for National Exams
The SJC Testing Center has a group of proctors who assist with the proctoring of national exams such as the ACT exam. If you would like to sign up to join our proctor corps, please fill out this form and submit it to testingcenter@sanjuancollege.edu.
