Registering for VTDLP Classes

STEP 1: Create Your Account

• Go to http://www.applyweb.com/aw?sjc
• Click on “Create Your Account”
• Complete and submit the form

STEP 2: Apply to San Juan College

• Return to http://www.applyweb.com/aw?sjc
• Click on “Apply to San Juan College”
• Complete and submit the form
• Note that there is a $10.00 fee for applying online

STEP 3: Complete Your Online Orientation

• Go to https://www.sanjuancollege.edu/studentonlineorientation/
• Select the type of student that best describes you (Hint: VETT students should generally select the first category “Online Student”)
• Complete the orientation
• Click the “Certificate Request” button at the end of the presentation and complete the Online New Student Orientation Certificate of Completion form

STEP 4: Advisement and Registration

• After attending the orientation, call the Veterinary Technology Distance Learning Program (VTDLP) office at 888-313-3838 for advisement and registration
• Please note that VTDLP students cannot register online through WebAdvisor
• Go to http://www.sanjuancollege.edu/pages/3436.asp for academic calendar and dates

STEP 5: Submit Transcripts

• NOTE: Transcripts do not have to be submitted before registering for or starting classes
• Request official transcripts from any other colleges that you have attended and have them sent to you
• DO NOT OPEN THE ENVELOPES!!! If opened, the transcripts are no longer considered official and the SJC Admissions Office cannot accept them
• Go to http://www.sanjuancollege.edu/documents/VetTech/Letter of Introductions for transcript evaluation.doc to download and complete our standardized letter of introduction
• Mail all unopened transcripts, along with a completed letter of introduction, to:

STEP 6: To Preview A Class

• Go to WebCT using the direct link: https://webct.sanjuancollege.edu
• Log in using “vetguest” as your user name and password

STEP 7: Ordering Textbooks

• Go to http://www.sanjuancollege.edu/pages/3472.asp
• Here you will find information regarding required textbooks and how to order
• Be sure to order only from the book list for the semester for which you are registered
