Kids Kollege Summer 2012
Give your kids the opportunity to explore activities, develop new interest while making friends and having fun. Kids can be a part of it all when the San Juan College Community Learning Center (CLC) presents the 25th annual Kids Kollege, June 4 – July 27. Parents can register their children for classes April 25 – July 23. Students can continue to register for individual sessions throughout the summer.
Seven, one-week sessions will be held June 4 – June 27. Session 1 – June 4-8; Session 2 – June 11-15; Session 3 – June 18-22; Session 4 – June 25-29; Session 5 – July 9-13; Session 6 – July 16-20; Session 7 – July 23-27.
Youngsters and teens, ages 4 through 15, can participate in a variety of classes including Arts and Crafts, Dance, Climbing Wall, Cooking, Sports, Science and many more.
Morning and afternoon classes are offered, however, times vary. Check the Summer 2012 Continuum class schedule for more details. No classes will be offered the week of July 2.
While participants may be several years away from college age, Kids Kollege presents an opportunity for children and young teens to not only have fun and learn, but also to gain a memorable “college” experience.
New students must register in person at the CLC located on the Farmington campus in room 1911 of the West Classroom Complex, between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays. Parents will be asked to provide their child’s social security number. Registration instructions and a class schedule are available at www.sanjuancollege.edu/clc. Returning students may register online. For further information, call the Community Learning Center at 566-3214.
