Enjoy an evening with the San Juan College Summer Band when they perform a free concert as part of the Gateway Museum’s Summer Terrace Series, Saturday, August 11, at 6 p.m., on the Museum’s terrace overlooking the river.

Music in store for the evening includes old-fashioned band favorites like The Walking Frog, The Whistler and his Dog, and Teddy Trombone. Anton Dvorak’s From the New World and Rossini’s William Tell Overture will be the featured classical works. Sweetheart of the band Lindsay Clark sings pop and jazz with the band and it all wraps up with a little John Phillip Sousa.
