Learn more about the fundamentals of bookkeeping when the San Juan College Small Business Development Center presents a workshop titled Can You Say Bookkeeping?, Monday, October 1, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Quality Center for Business. Deadline to register is Thursday, September 27.

This lively, interactional and instructional workshop will be conducted by Gary Bouty. Bouty is an entertaining accountant on "loan" from the Small Business Development Center at UNM Taos.

A separate bank account is not enough. And, even if the business will use a computerized accounting system in the future, the basics of bookkeeping are still a must. This is an opportunity to learn the fundamentals in an environment you will enjoy. Learn how to keep your company on a good footing.
