The Financial Aid Work-Study position requires a motivated, responsible, and dependable individual that is able to work both individually and in a team environment. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to organize and maintain a large volume of documents and student files. The candidate must have good customer service and communication skills and an ability to perform well in a fast paced working environment. Ideal candidates should be energetic, adaptable and demonstrate professional demeanor.
Financial Aid Work-Study students will perform general clerical duties as needed, including but not limited to: document sorting and filing, printing, reviewing reports, data research and entry, and assistance with mass mailings. Positive customer service skills, keyboarding skills, basic computer skills, and telephone communication skills are a must.
With appropriate training and understanding of financial aid basics work-study students will be expected to provide assistance to Financial Aid staff and students in customer service areas.
