Lisa WilsonLisa Wilson, Dean

The School of Humanities is comprised of four departments including Fine Arts, Human Affairs, Language and Letters, and Social Sciences. These departments offer a wide range of General Education courses in the humanities, social sciences, and fine arts as well as developmental courses in English and reading. The school also offers degree and certificate programs in Early Childhood Education, Education, Human Services, Liberal Arts, and Technical Theatre.

The faculty of the School of Humanities is committed to providing innovative, student-centered instruction that fosters intellectual curiosity and active learning. Students will develop the critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills that will allow them to pursue academic goals, success in the workplace, and lifelong learning.

Through the Office of Public Events, the SJC Art Gallery, and the KSJE Radio Station, the school extends learning opportunities and access to the arts to all students and community members.

We look forward to working with you to help you achieve your educational goals.
