Principal Morgan Cunningham, LLC
Bryan Cunningham is the former Deputy Legal Advisor to National Security Advisor, Condoleezza Rice. He has been involved in advising high ranking officials on matters such as cyber security. He is the co-founder of the American Bar Association’s Cyber Security Privacy Task Force and is currently Principal at Morgan Cunningham, a law and corporate homeland security consulting firm.

“A Perspective From the White House Situation Room: How Your Information Security Impacts US National Security”

Network security is no longer about simple network firewall protection. Effective network security requires a sophisticated strategy involving physical protection, Layer 3 defense, host-based security, policy enforcement and regulatory compliance. Mr. Cunningham will discuss a comprehensive approach to network security from a legal perspective for companies who must adhere to Federal regulations such as FERPA, HIPPA and Sarbanes-Oxley. He will discuss the mitigation of legal risks for executives around the issue of network security.

Russell GriffithH. Russell Griffith
President and CEO and Chairman of the Board, Datatel, Inc.
Russ Griffith has served as Datatel’s President and Chief Executive Officer since 1992. Datatel’s focus is on “helping colleges and universities manage their business processes.” Russ is a frequent speaker on leadership and change for higher education and technology associations. He also serves as the president of the American Association of Community Colleges Corporate Council.
