Biography

After graduating from the University of Oklahoma, I began a career with the Indian Health Service. I was honored to be the first bachelor degree dental hygienist to be commissioned with the US Public Health Service. I also spent some years in private practice in general , pediatric, and orthodontic practices. I began teaching at San Juan College, and decided to pursue a teaching career. Upon receiving my teaching certificate, I taught 7th grade science for some time. (Go Heights!) I am excited to be back at SJC and look forward to helping our students reach their goals.
