Mission Statement

The Physical Plant Mechanical & Electrical Dept. at San Juan College strives to provide a safe, attractive, functional and comfortable environment for our faculty/staff, students and visitors that will contribute toward a positive learning experience and student success.

Department Information

Our highly qualified and committed Mechanical & Electrical Crew oversee the operation of all mechanical equipment such as the boilers, chillers and various air handling units.  They are responsible for performing preventative electrical maintenance and the repair/maintenance of lighting, fire alarms and clocks on campus.  They also perform plumbing repair/maintenance and temperature regulation.

7:30am - 5:00pm

 

Depending on the type of request, it will be assigned based on priority.  Some requests such as heating/cooling, plumbing, electrical issues, custodial services and emergencies we make every attempt to handle within a few hours of the request.  To ensure that we are providing the best customer service possible, please report any serious issues immediately by calling our office at 566-3285 or emailing us at physplant@sanjuancollege.edu
