Password

  1. My username and password worked recently, but now it doesn't. What happened?
    Most likely your password expired; according to San Juan College policy your password needs to be changed at least once every 180 days.

Web Advisor

  1. When I try to log into Web Advisor I get an error that says my username is not found in the registry; what do I do?
    Make sure your username is in all lowercase letters; if you still get the error contact the HelpDesk.

Student Email

  1. How do I setup my student email address?
    Initial Setup – First Time Login
    1. Click this link (this will open in a new window)
    2. Enter in email address and INITIAL Password
      Email Address: username* + @my.sanjuancollege.edu - Example: jldoe12@my.sanjuancollege.edu
      INTIAL Password: sjcp + Last 4 digits of SSN - Example: sjcp1234

      *username is your First Initial + Middle Initial + First 12 letters of Last Name + Last 2 digits of Social Security Number Example: jldoe12
    3. Follow the setup process to change your password.
    4. Add in an alternate email address. You will need this to retrieve a forgotten password.
    5. Select & answer the security questions. You will need this to retrieve a forgotten password.
    6. Designate a time zone. If your instructor emails you meeting requests, your time zone may be set differently causing your calendar to be off too.
