The U.S. Department of Labor ranks Dental Hygiene as one of the fastest growing professions with starting salaries between $55,220 and $78,990. Job prospects are expected to remain excellent.

Dental Hygienists work in settings such as private dental offices, public health clinics, military, industry and education. Salary depends upon geographic region, practice setting, and hours employed.
