Reception: Friday, October 30 – 6 to 8 p.m.

Farmington, NM – The San Juan College Fine Arts Committee will feature painter James Joe in its annual Artist Invitational exhibit at the College’s Fine Arts Gallery. The exhibit, entitled “Voices in Color,” will open with a reception from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, October 30, and run through November 24.

James Joe’s methods for creating his artwork are never typical but always bold and innovative. His colorful way of speaking to the world holds his audience’s attention as people explore the deeper meanings of his work. Joe was chosen by the Fine Arts Committee of San Juan College to be this year’s featured artist. The show will include botanical paintings, opinionated paintings, some ethnic themes and experimental art.
