Apply for Financial Aid
Please submit your Financial Aid application online at www.fafsa.ed.gov

Request an Official Transcript (If you have not done so already)
From your high school/GED and from all colleges where you have taken classes, be sent to the Enrollment Services Office. Your high school transcript MUST include your graduation date. Transcripts must arrive at the Enrollment Services office (mailed or hand delivered) in a SEALED envelope from the originating institution OR if the issuing institution has the ability to issue e-transcripts, they can send the transcript to email@example.com. No Financial Aid funds will be released until all transcripts have been received (high school and college). College transcripts will not be evaluated by Enrollment Services until you are enrolled for classes.

Smarter Measure is a Learning Readiness Indicator assessment meant to be an interesting experience by which you may learn more about yourself. It will take 35 minutes to complete. You only need to complete areas 1-5. Go to http://sjc.smartermeasure.com to complete this.
Meet with an Academic Advisor
You will need to meet with an advisor to discuss course options and degree plans. Appointments can be made by calling the Advising and Counselling Center at (505) 566 – 3526.

Pay your Tuition
It is your responsibility to know the tuition deadline and to pay for your classes by that date. Please check the Academic Calendar
for information concerning tuition dates and deadlines. Automatic payment plans are available through the Student Payment Plan
