Technicolor Visions

February 3 – March 18, 2011

Reception: Thursday, February 3 – 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

See the vivid colors that enhance the watercolor paintings of Michael Bulloch in an exhibit titled "Technicolor Visions," at the San Juan College Humanities Gallery, February 3 – March 18. An opening reception will be held Thursday, February 3, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

With an insatiable curiosity about life, Bulloch's work portrays the beauty of the world around him. "Though I might exaggerate the color, it's only because I see the promise of that color and want to share it," he says.

He strives to depict a peaceful aura in his art. "My hope is that people see my work and think, 'That's where I want to be,'" he continues. "I want to awaken their senses."

A Farmington resident and graphic designer, Bulloch's work has won a variety of awards, and has also been featured on event program covers and festival posters. His work is also owned by collectors across the country, and is part of the permanent collection of Merrion Oil and Gas, San Juan College as well as the City of Bloomfield.

The Humanities Art Gallery is located in the Humanities balcony in the West Classroom Complex.
It is open Monday through Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Fridays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
