Central Sterile Processing course is designed to provide the latest information on the different aspects of sterile processing which help develop new and existing sterile techs.  San Juan College offers a Surgical Technology Program leading to an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree and Central Sterile Processing is an integral part of the surgical technologist education.
 

Special Topic to Prerequisite Course

Currently SURG 195: Central Sterile Processing is being offered as a special topic and for 2012 will become a prerequisite.  The course will be offered Fall and Spring semesters.  This special topic requires permission to register with intentions to allow open registration in the future. SURG 195 will become SURG 119 for Fall 2012.
