Find out about the latest in technology, while gaining hands-on training at the 2011 Technology Leadership Conference, Friday, September 16, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The annual event is hosted by Sun Guard Higher Education and San Juan College Office of Technology Services.
The conference will appeal to a wide audience – from those working in education and business, to government and the community at large.
"We're adding some new elements to this year's event," explains Tim Warren, San Juan College vice president for Technology Services. "Along with discussions from top technology professionals, we are also adding in more hands-on training sessions and bringing in industry vendors."
The conference tracks will feature information on education (higher education and K-12), business and industry, and information technology. The hands-on training sessions will highlight Microsoft products, Adobe products, and how to utilize social media as a marketing tool – just to name a few.
While there, participants can learn more about the latest in technological products and services from local and national vendors. A variety of door prizes also will be awarded.
The conference and workshops are free, and lunch will be provided.
There is limited space for the workshops, so register early. Call 505-566-4321, or send an e-mail to TLC@sanjuancollege.edu. Include first and last name, professional title, company, telephone number and e-mail address.
