San Juan College Board of Trustees begins the Presidential Search Process
The San Juan College Board of Trustees has begun the process of seeking a new President for the institution. The college has had two prior presidents – the first served for 27 years, while the second served for nine years. Mr. Mike Tacha is currently serving as interim president and has agreed to continue in that role until a new president is appointed.
The Board has hired Harvard Group International, an executive and professional search firm, to assist with recruiting excellent candidates for the position. The firm has completed thousands of retained searches for clients across America, Europe, and Asia. In addition to Higher Education and non-profits, the firm works across more than 35 industries. Dr. Norman Stewart, Managing Director of the higher education practice of Harvard Group International, will serve as recruitment consultant for the SJC presidential search.
San Juan College is an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative-Action institution committed to cultural, racial, and multi-ethnic communities and compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. It is expected that the successful candidates share in this commitment. Persons who need reasonable accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act to participate in the application process should contact Dr. Stewart at nstewart@hgi1.com.
