Setup iPad to Use San Juan College Wireless Network

 

  • To set up your iPad to use the SJC's Wireless network go to your home screen and click on Settings
     
  • Then go to Wi-Fi which is an option on the left side.
     
  • If your wireless is on and you are on campus, you should see this list of available wireless connections. Tap Guest to connect to the Guest network.

 

When it is connected, the screen should show Wi-Fi Guests and the Guests network option should have a check mark beside it.

 

Set up employee email account on an iPad

 

  • To set up your employee email on your iPad go to your home screen and click on Settings
     
  • Then go to Mail, Contacts, Calendars, which is an option on the left hand side.

     
  • Go to Add Account...

     
  • Then pick Exchange as the account type.
     
  • Input your employee username and password in appropriate fields and sjcnt.tld as the domain name. In this example, the Description has been adjusted as well.


     
  • In the next screen, you add the server which is email.sanjuancollege.edu


     

 

 

 


After this, there is usually one more screen asking about preferences with syncing. Syncing mail, Contacts, and Calendars is recommended. Then hit Save to finalize the setup of your email.

 

 

Your mail is now set up.
