PNM Navajo Nation Work Force Training Scholarship

Recipients are selected on multiple criteria and funds are limited.  Not all qualified applicants will receive an award

  • Awards are posted on WebAdvisor
  • Student must be an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation
  • Scholarships are generally awarded per semester for fall and/or spring semesters (no summer awards)
  • Failure to meet individual scholarship eligibility criteria may result in immediate cancellation of award
  • Renewal of scholarships is not automatic; students must apply each academic year to be considered
  • The student agrees to write a Thank you letter and attend the SJC Foundation Scholarship Reception in March 2014
  •  Must be pursing one of the following License/Certificate/Degree:

Certificates: Building Trades, Civil Drafting and Design Technology, Diesel Technology, Fundamentals of Petroleum Production, Instrumentation and Controls Technology, Machine Shop Technology, Natural Gas Compression, Occupational Safety, Renewable Energy, Welding, and Commercial Driver's License

Associate of Sciences (Completed FAFSA Required): Chemistry, Engineering and Geology

Associate of Applied Sciences (Completed FAFSA Required): Building Trades, Civil Drafting and Design Technology, Diesel Technology, Fundamentals of Petroleum production, Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Program, Industrial Process Operator Program, Instrumentation and Controls Technology, Machine Shop Technology, Natural Gas Compression, Occupational Safety, Renewable Energy, and Welding
