Fort Lewis College

Fort Lewis College has designated how San Juan College degrees and courses will transfer in their San Juan College Transfer Guide. By transferring with an AA/AS degree, you will be exempt from all lower-division general education requirements.

Things to Know

  • Fort Lewis College will allow up to 90 credits to transfer toward a baccalaureate degree. Within these 90 credits, the maximum number of credits that may transfer from San Juan College or another accredited community college is 60.
  • To be competitive for admission to Fort Lewis College, applicants should have a 2.4 cumulative grade point average (GPA). If your cumulative GPA is below 2.4 you will need two letters of reference and a personal essay.
  • During the academic year, a Fort Lewis College admission representative visits the San Juan College campus twice a month. Contact the San Juan College Transfer Specialist to sign up for a meeting.
