Welcome! The Native American Center at San Juan College is open to the students, staff, faculty and other members of the campus community. As director, I welcome you to the NAC and encourage you to engage in our services, resources, and special opportunities that are available year-round.

I am committed to making the NAC a safe place for the campus community as well as one of the most resourceful hubs on campus. I am deeply passionate about working with Native American students and developing opportunities for students to learn, get involved, and achieve great success in their academic and professional pursuits.

I devoted much of my early career to working directly with students from programming to advisement to recruitment and retention. My research focuses on pathways to higher education for Native American students as well as the study of cultural centers and their importance on college campuses.

Here at San Juan College, we are proud of the success of our Native American students. SJC is uniquely positioned among many Native American communities in the four corners area. This makes the diversity of our students truly special. Please join me as I celebrate and embrace the many cultures that make us who we are!
