Why did you choose to go to San Juan College?

"I heard through the grapevine San Juan College had an EMS program and it was worth attending/receiving the certificate. They were right!"
 
What did you do or are you doing to prepare for your career? 

"I completed both the Basic and Advance/Intermediate program through SJC and worked full time with Navajo Nation EMS as an intern and as a licensed EMT-Basic."
 
What advice would you give to future graduates?

"It’s okay to ask for help when you’re struggling to understand the subject. There are times when it’s going to be overwhelming and difficult but remember you came so far, give it your all. You got this!"
 
What was your fondest memory at San Juan College?

"Receiving my letter of recommendation from my teacher/director Ms. Meyer. I kept reading and re-reading it because she understood how much I wanted to become an EMT to make a difference. She recognized my hustle for it and supported me!"
