This founding sentiment of the United States will be on full display at the SJC Band Spring Concert, featuring all works written by American composers.  Pieces like "As a River Flows" by Christina Huss will lull the audience into nostalgic bliss, while others such as "Variations on a Korean Folk Song" by John Barnes Chance and "America" from West Side Story will help us all appreciate the varied cultural influences and perspectives that enrich the American spirit.
