DESCRIPTION:Art that Uplifts Dream Warriors invites you to experience art with purpose. This collective of artists transforms passion into action, using creativity to uplift communities and inspire change. Through music, poetry, and storytelling, they remind us that following our gifts is not just personal, it’s powerful. Artists: Tall Paul - a Hip-Hop Anishinaabe and Oneida artist enrolled on the Leech Lake reservation in Minnesota. His music and art strongly reflect his inner-city upbringing and evokes a wide variety of substance, soul, and character. Tanaya Winder - an author, singer/songwriter, poet, motivational speaker and educator who comes from an intertribal lineage of Southern Ute, Pyramid Lake Paiute, Diné and Duckwater Shoshone Nations where she is an enrolled citizen. Her performances and talks emphasize the importance of “heartwork” – the life path one is meant to follow by using their gifts and passions. Twin City Tone - an Objibwe DJ/MC from St. Paul, Minnesota, known for his lyricism, flawless flow, and unique voice. He is part of the duo Red Poets Society (along with Tall Paul) and has shared the stage with the Black Eyed Peas, among others. Dream Warriors is a non-profit collective of artists who believe in pursuing passions, dreams, and gifts to better loved ones and communities while also uplifting others. Founded by Tanaya Winder, and currently run by member Tall Paul, Dream Warriors is an innovate community created to bring together different talented artists, speakers, and educators who embody the values of what it means to be a Dream Warrior.
