DESCRIPTION:The San Juan College Enterprise Center and Big Idea Makerspace are excited to offer two&nbsp;free, hands-on Indigenous Fashion Workshops&nbsp;led by internationally recognized Din&eacute; fashion designer&nbsp;Jolonzo Goldtooth. These workshops provide a unique opportunity for participants to explore sewing, fashion design, draping, and textile techniques while learning in a collaborative makerspace environment. Participation is&nbsp;free, but space is limited to&nbsp;8 participants per workshop, and an application is required. Workshops   Sew What! - In this introduction to sewing, you will learn sewing machine basics, stitching techniques, and professional finishing while creating a completed sewing project.&nbsp;     Sew To The Runway - This fashion design &amp; draping. Explore fashion sketching, draping, garment design, textile sublimation, and construction.   Ready to Create? Complete the application to be considered for one or both workshops. Participants will be notified after applications are reviewed.
