Farmington Cinematheque Series presents The Disaster Artist with The Room (Double Show)

The Farmington Cinematheque Series presents The Disaster Artist with The Room (Double Show), Saturday, May 19, at 7 p.m., in the Little Theatre.

The Disaster Artist is a movie about Greg Sestero, an aspiring film actor, who meets the weird and mysterious Tommy Wiseau in an acting class and they form a unique friendship and travel to Hollywood to make their dreams come true. This film is rated R for language throughout and some sexuality and nudity.

The Room centers on a successful banker’s (Tommy Wiseau) fiancée (Juliette Danielle) who tempts and manipulates his best friend (Greg Sestero). This movie is rated R for sexuality, language and brief violence.

The Farmington Cinematheque Series is sponsored by the San Juan College Henderson Fine Arts Center, the San Juan College Library and KSJE Radio.  It features documentaries and independent films not released on a national level.
