EDGE Program (TRiO Student Support Services)
EDGE/Student Support Services is a TRIO program that provides support to students who qualify as low-income, first generation, or have a documented disability, to assist them in maintaining good grades and successfully completing a degree or certificate.
WHO DO WE HELP?
You qualify to apply if you meet at least one of the following categories:
- First generation college student
- Eligible for the Pell Grant
- Have a documented disability
HOW DO WE SUPPORT STUDENTS?
- Academic advising
- Individual tutoring
- Degree planning
- Financial aid counseling
- Financial literacy information
- Cultural activities and field trips
- Transfer advising and field trips to four-year colleges and universities
- Workshops on academic, personal, and financial topics
- Support for students with disabilities
- Computer lab reserved for EDGE participants
