Humanities Balcony Gallery
February 25 – March 25, 2010
Reception: Thursday, February 25 – 3 to 5 p.m.
A colorful exploration of landscapes and nature’s beauty will be featured as the San Juan College Humanities Art Gallery presents “First Impressions,” the work of Peter Gonzalez, February 25 – March 25. An opening reception is slated for Thursday, February 25, from 3 to 5 p.m.
Through digital photography, Gonzalez offers an art that he says is his particular method of thinking outside of the box.
Over the past few years, he has had the privilege to participate in workshops with masters and notable photographers whose style he admired.
“I hope that the images displayed in this exhibit will inspire young photographers who long to create their own artistic style,” Gonzalez explains. “Coincidentally, digital photography offers an opportunity for experimentation and self expression.”
Gonzalez dedicated the exhibit to Marcy Hower for her inspiration and encouragement.
The Humanities Art Gallery is located in the Humanities balcony in the West Classroom Complex.
It is open Monday through Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Fridays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
